Development

Kick-Off Begins NOW-

You can make a difference! Your giving allows Boyd-Buchanan to continue to be a “rare and special place” for the students.

Your Annual Fund donations allow us to continue to follow the Mission of Boyd Buchanan School – to offer a “…rare and special place for preparing students to walk with the Master and to embrace this life’s challenges with joy, courage, and wisdom.”

This means that we provide a nurturing Christian environment where students learn lessons from the Bible, and where students are challenged through strong academic offerings, athletic challenges, music and art opportunities, foreign languages study, mentoring, service to the elderly and the community, and service to each other.

Boyd Buchanan School continues to build on 59 years of excellence in Christian education, but we need your help. A portion of the budget for our programs is not covered by tuition, and the proceeds of the Annual Fund fill that void. Your gift allows us to provide the programs that are vital to our students’ success. Please consider a gift to the Annual Fund today!

Give by check at the Business Office, or give online at www.bbschool.org and click DONATE in the top right corner. National Philanthropy Day Luncheon honorees

Congratulations to our 2011 National Philanthropy Day Luncheon honorees: H.K. "Nitro" and Elvera Glisson and Mrs. Martha McDowell, pictured here with President Lanny Witt. The honorees attended a luncheon at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, as part of the National Philanthropy Day Celebration hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. This special day is set aside to recognize great contributions of philanthropy - and those people active in the philanthropic community - to the enrichment of our world. First held in 1987, National Philanthropy Day celebrates the endless daily contributions of individuals and organizations across the world to countless causes and missions.

A Tribute to our President Circle Donors

The BBS President’s Circle donors enjoyed dinner at the Car Barn on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, and they were treated to special entertainment by students Mason Wortman, Madeline Bales, Hank Warren, and the “Buc Street Boys”, Rance Harden, Thatcher Smith, Stephen Ingram, Grant Mathis, and Jake Perry. Will Wortman opened the evening with a prayer. President’s Circle members were also treated to a trivia game using the iPads, and everyone enjoyed learning to use them. Betty Fickens was the trivia game winner, while Nancy Siler and John Crisman won nice door prizes. The evening concluded with a special “thank you” video created by the students from Jan Akins’ video production class. Thanks to all of the President’s Circle members who were able to attend. If you would like more information about membership in the President’s Circle at BBS, please call 622-6177.
